Welcome to FernsAndGroundCovers.Blogspot.Com. Ferns and Ground Covers is our Part 2 Blog creation comprises listing of scientific and common names and pictures of tropical plants covering climbers, creepers, ground covers, ferns, shrubs, trees, turfs and water plants found in Malaysia and Singapore.
The creation of this Blog is one of the first few non-commercial green initiative project on the internet created by Markus J. M. Lazim and a team of garden experts from Technic Network Malaysia.
Listings of scientific names of tropical garden plants and trees in this blog will be presented in seven parts or classifications. Establishing ground covers requires planning and a little patience. The soil must be prepared by removing existing weeds, loosening the topsoil, and enriching it with compost if needed. Proper spacing during planting allows for healthy spread and prevents overcrowding. Regular watering during the initial weeks helps plants establish deep roots. Once Cable protection cover manufacturers settled, most ground covers are self-sustaining with occasional pruning or thinning to maintain shape and health.
